Topps Diamond Giveaway Site

Okay, seriously, this is pissing me off. I don't know what's going on, but the usually slow Topps Diamond Giveaway website is now essentially non-functional. It loads slowly if at all. I'm getting error messages just trying to browse through trade offers. Making an offer takes about as long as writing a symphony, and accepting a trade offer only results in errors.

I know to expect slower service during peak times - evenings and weekends especially - but I was trying to complete a trade at 2AM last night and couldn't get it to go through, and now at 11AM I'm having the same problems and worse. The site wouldn't even load the first time I tried getting to it.

This type of poor design is a huge turn-off for me, and I'm sure other collectors. Why should I continue to buy Topps products to obtain codes for a website that doesn't even work? I need nine more codes to reach 45 rings, so I'm going to reach my goal, but this experience just means that next year I'm not even bothering with the code cards.

  1. I gave up when they got rid of the "decline all checked" button. it's too much trouble to decline 50 offers of a 1987 Topps card for my Brian McCann die-cut individually.

  2. I can't believe they got rid of that button. It still exists on the ring trade page, though. I just scan the offers about once per week, so I don't see the same offer over and over again.

  3. I got that screen once too. What annoyed me more was that I'm creeping close to the 45 ring mark and the error cost me a dig! The error happened right when my prize card was supposed to pop up, and for some reason when I signed in again I had received a card but no dig. :(

  5. You would think a big company like Topps would have this sh-t squared away by now but I guess not. These a--holes really need to jump on board and take care of this.

  6. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one frustrated with the Topps Diamond site. I enjoyed going to this site with my sons this summer, but we lost interest with the problems on the site. The constant errors on the pages, slow loading pages and removal of the 'Decline All Checked' button has made it a waste of time. This is 2011 and Topps has the resources to have these issues fixed in a day.

    Hey Topps, that's turrrrible!

  8. Well, after all that, it seems the site is back and running pretty fast, at least for now. I still need five more rings...
