Card Gallery: 2017-18 V-Premier Women's League Official Trading Cards

Given the relative obscurity of this set, I figured it'd be good to provide a visual checklist. Sorry, right now I don't have time to translate the names or include card numbers, but I might go back and do that some time. All cards are in order.

One thing that's very visible here but I didn't mention in yesterday's post is that the players are grouped by team, and then sorted by jersey number.

  1. I don't watch Korean volleyball (don't have cable) and unsure if foreigners are allowed in the league. It appears maybe one or two are on each of these Japanese teams.

Does V-Premier only make volleyball cards? Are they owned by someone else?

    1. There is also a Men's card set for that side of the V-Premier League. It looks like most of the teams have had a handful of foreign players on them at one time or another. There have also been a few foreign coaches.

    2. The league is called V-Premier, with both a men's league and a women's league.

The manufacturer of the cards is... well, one of many names. I believe they go by Hitz, but they could also be called TIC. The company also makes lots of other card sets which are generally released "by" the league or team, or another entity, instead of the actual manufacturer. They are responsible for all of the "framed paper" sets of the past few years, as well as Sports Graphic Number Athlete sets, the Fighters street clothes set, the Yakult Swallows fan sets, and several idol sets.
