Cartoon History of Baseball: Orioles Part One

This is post #301. Wow.
I found the above book at a used-book store. I browse them often, because I frequently find like-new books at discounted prices. I think I found this at a Berkeley library bookstore for a dollar. It's a fun look into the past for every team.

Each team receives a few pages outlining their highlights from inception through the 1980s. Franchise histories are provided in a series of cartoons that remind me of Topps comics.
Poor Frank Robinson is so sad to be in Baltimore. As you can see, a highlight from about every other year is provided.
Apparently the artist really liked Boog Powell, to give him such a big spot on the page. Perhaps it has more to do with the World Series win?

Favorite cartoon: Orioles walking the plank in 1971.

There are two more pages in the Orioles story. This book is right up my alley, but if there's no interest in me continuing I'll leave it with this post. Please leave a comment and let me know!
